This chest of drawers was transformed with a coat of Chalk Paint Amsterdam Green which was distressed lightly to reveal the wood underneath.

Amsterdam Green is a strong, deep green inspired by the shutters and doors found in The Netherlands. Here it is paired with botanical imagery – the perfect green to bring out the colours of the flowers and plants around it.

To finish this chest of drawers, the paint was sealed in with Clear Chalk Paint Wax which was sanded back to reveal a little of the wood below before giving it a final coat of Clear Wax. The knobs were left in their original wood.

The wall has been plastered with vintage botanical prints of flowers and vegetables.
