Annie Sloan painted this wall in an overlapping stencil design using Poppy Pod and Flower String, and a range of Chalk Paint colours.

You can apply Annie Sloan stencils in a number of ways: as a single design, in a pattern or randomly overlaid. Annie’s signature technique is to overprint her stencils in a loose and random pattern.

The Poppy Pod stencil is large enough to be used on walls but also perfect for furniture and even fabric. Annie chose a variety of colours from the Chalk Paint palette for this project. She also picked out individual flowers from her Flower String stencil to add to her pattern.
