The Joy of Painting Masterclass is a two-day, Annie Sloan endorsed event taught by Annie’s Brand Ambassador, Jonathon Marc Mendes. During this exclusive Masterclass, you will have the opportunity to learn and practice a whole range of different painting techniques using Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan. Some of the techniques that Jonathon will teach include gilding, blending, ombré, polished plaster, leaf printing and Bloomsbury inspired Charleston Farmhouse hand painting.

Jonathon Marc Mendes is a furniture artist, photographer and part time hairdresser. He has taught live workshops all over the world from Greece to Australia. He also offers online teaching through his learning platform, Painted Love Academy, one-to-one tutorials or by Zoom. He also features full length tutorials on his YouTube channel. Jonathon does all of his own photography and styling and is obsessed with up cycling and interior design on a budget.

Breakfast, lunch and a light dinner are included for both Saturday and Sunday. All supplies and paints are included. This Masterclass will take place at the Farmington Valley Arts Center (FVAC) in Avon, Connecticut. Cost per person is $389 and attendance will be limited to only 16 participants.
