The Garden Village Store at Rutland Garden Centre
Opened by the Lord Lieutenant of Rutland in October 2020, the Garden Village Store proved an immediate hit with visitors to Rutland Garden Centre. Housing our extensive range of house plants and eclectic indoor pots, the light airy space allowed us to expand our offering, introducing a selection of choice giftware and cards from British independent businesses. Truly a store for the discerning, inquisitive, shopper with an eye for niche artisan products and beautiful home accessories, the Garden Village Store has broad appeal and strives to seek out the new and interesting so there is always a reason to return.
Within the store you can find our bookshop – a little corner of calm, stocked with hand-picked fiction and non-fiction titles.
We are so proud to be stockists of the Annie Sloan range of chalk paints and throughout the year will be offering creative workshops and displaying upcycled furniture to inspire and purchase. Annie Sloan paint is available to buy in our online shop.
Katey Lester, co-owner of the Garden Centre and proprietor of Barefoot Sunday, our sister shop next door, curates the Village Store, and her talent for selecting the very things our customers like and that cannot be found elsewhere in the county is impeccable.
