Throughout the year we visit and sponsor many events across the Interior Design and Home Decor calendar. Please come and say hello to us (and possibly even Annie herself) at one of the following events.
Virtual Tour of Charleston Farmhouse, UK
On demand until 8th October
Online Exclusive Event
Tickets reopened! Book to watch the event on demand until 5pm (BST), Thursday 8 October.
Take this one-of-a-kind tour through the rooms, hallways and gardens of Charleston Farmhouse, all from the comfort of your own home!
Charleston has long been a huge source of inspiration for Annie and is a wonderfully unique, hugely valuable museum of the oft over-looked Decorative Arts. Charleston has suffered terrible financial losses due to the pandemic and they urgently need funds to stay afloat. This is your opportunity to support them and take a once in a lifetime tour around the country bolthole of Duncan Grant, Virginia Woolf, Vanessa Bell, Lyton Strachey and their boundary-pushing Bloomsbury group contemporaries.
Our very own Annie Sloan will be leading the tour, alongside Dr Darren Clarke (Head of Exhibitions, Collections and Research at Charleston) each giving their unique expertise on this incredible property. Following the Tour there will be a Q&A broadcast live from Charleston where you can ask either of them all the questions you might have – be they regarding bringing some Charleston design elements into your own home or the fascinating past inhabitants.
The event is ticketed in order to support Charleston’s Emergency Appeal Fund and you will receive a private link to view the Tour itself and the Q&A. All proceeds of ticket sales will go to Charleston Trust, a charity which receives no public funding, and relies fully on events such as this to keep going. There will be three donation points, to ensure as many people as possible can afford to join the tour:
£20, £30, £40.
Please pay what you can. The entirety of your donation will go to the Charleston Emergency Fund. The money raised will protect this incredible unique, irreplaceable, part of our history.
The tour and Q&A can be watched on demand. The video will be available to watch until 5pm (BST), Thursday 8 October.
