Created with Chalk Paint™ in Château Grey and Scandinavian Pink, this dining space gives a Nordic nod to Christmas.

This Scandinavian-inspired Christmas dining room features a more muted khaki and pink scheme instead of a traditional red and green theme. The walls and floors are painted with Chalk Paint™ in Château Grey (the floors being lacquered with Matt Chalk Paint™ Lacquer) and the chairs are painted with Olive and finished with Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax.

To counter these tones, the table has been given a wash of Old White, with the legs painted in Scandinavian Pink and knocked back with White Chalk Paint™ Wax. Be sure to use Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax or Lacquer on the table top for longevity.

On the wall this sweet, rustic looking advent calendar bunting can be reused every year and filled with thoughtful, personalised gifts. The pouches are sewn with Ticking in Olive and the dates have been added using luggage tags, painted with Chalk Paint™.

As a finishing touch, crackers have been stencilled with Chalk Paint™ in Scandinavian Pink in our Circle design, and pine cones have been brushed in matching tones to act as place names on the Christmas table. This mix of raw materials and muted colours is quintessentially Scandi-style, with Annie Sloan finishes.
