Learn the basics of furniture painting with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.  This workshop is incorporated on a wooden board to enable you to experience the full variation of how the paint works.

The introductory workshop will be a relaxed and fun three hours when you will be given the opportunity to sample the Annie Sloan paints, brushes and waxes.  This is an ideal introductory workshop suitable for beginners and those who have a little experience. During the workshop you will learn the following:

Two-colour distressing, using one colour over another

Texturing the Paint, which you will accentuate with Clear, Dark, White and Black Wax

Colour mixing, we will show you the basis behind which you can go on to mix an unlimited number of colours

Smooth finish and creating a wash effect.

These are the techniques which are going to take your pieces of furniture to the next level and give you the confidence to do more than painting a piece in one flat colour.  We will also cover information about Annie herself, problem solving, tricks of the trade and any other bits of advice and information you’d like to know.

Workshop cost is £69pp and covers all the materials that you will need. We provide aprons!
