Essential Techniques 1 – introduces beginners and those with a bit of knowledge of chalk paint to the basic techniques, enabling you to tackle your own projects with confidence! The workshops are fun and relaxed sessions run by Gabrielle who has been trained by Annie Sloan. On the day we will cover:

A one colour smooth finish    Two colour distressed look   How to use waxes on a 3D surface

You will be experimenting on sample boards first and then applying these techniques to a picture frame of your choice, all of which you can take home with you. All materials are provided. There is also the chance to purchase any of the Annie Sloan products on sale in our shop at a discount of 10% on the day.

Workshops are held at A Painted Room, 6 York Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 7RZ and places are limited to no more than 6 to allow for social distancing.
