Pretty in Pink
Pink is no longer seen as a colour for little girls’ bedrooms – it’s a hue that can be sophisticated, quirky, relaxing or sexy.
Pink paints are fabulous and instantly bring warmth and sophistication to a space when used correctly. Soft pinks are delightfully easy to work with and universally flattering, whilst hot pinks are directional and bold.

Depth, volume and quality of pigment will lead to a rich, complex earthiness like Scandinavian Pink, a perfectly balanced pastel such as Pointe Silk, an exciting hot pink a la Capri Pink or a soft dusty hue like Jaipur Pink – the newest addition to the palette.
Capri Pink
Chalk Paint in Capri Pink was inspired by the vivid pinks that populate folk palettes around the globe, from Mexican textiles, via Pakistani truck art, to bohemian Romany gypsy caravan interiors. Capri Pink is a true hot pink with depth and energy.
For this jazzy cabinet, Annie was inspired by the hippies of the 1960s and 1970s. Against a background in Graphite Wall Paint and Paris Grey flooring, the contrast of the bright Capri Pink against the lovely mellow shades of Honfleur, Coco, a muted Rodmell mix, a muted Barcelona Orange mix, and Olive creates a slightly psychedelic end result!

Pointe Silk
Pink walls can make a statement or can be calm and neutral if you choose a soft pink. A more subtle approach to using pink is to use it on woodwork contrasted with neutral wall. Choose a soft light pink like Satin Paint in Pointe Silk on a door, woodwork and skirtings and add a decorative painted doorframe inspired by Greek and Roman architecture.

Scandinavian Pink
There is no need to confine pink to the bedroom. Pink can look just as chic in the kitchen or bathroom. Choose a deep earthy pink, to keep it chic not saccharine. Here the bath has been painted in Chalk Paint in Scandinavian Pink with a couple of coats of Matt Chalk Paint Lacquer to protect it. The plaster effect walls have been created using Chalk Paint in Scandinavian Pink and Honfleur.

Jaipur Pink
Jaipur in the heart of Rajasthan, India was the inspiration for Annie’s latest pink. Jaipur Pink is a dusty earthy pink with a softness to it and was the perfect choice for this old Indian cupboard.
To contrast with the softness of the Jaipur Pink, the painting detail was done in Arles and Old White with dots in Barcelona Orange and the metal handles were painted in a mix of Florence and Provence.

Piranesi Pink
Use the right shade of pink and it will make any room look fresh, modern and grown-up.
Pink walls can make a statement or can be calm and neutral if you choose a soft pink. Wall Paint in Piranesi Pink is the colour of setting plaster and the perfect neutral pink for a living room, contrasting with scalloped borders painted in Adelphi.

Pink is surprisingly varied, ranging from baby and blush to candy, fuchsia or shocking pink.
