Are you ready to add a touch of modern elegance to your living space with a Greek Key-inspired wall design? You will need:

• Metallic Paint in Modern Gold
• Paper
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Sponge
• Card
• Pen
• Spirit level
• Double sided tape
• MixMat
• Small Sponge Roller

Step 1

Get creative and design your very own Greek Key shape. We took inspiration from Ancient architecture.   Alternatively, you could print an image from Google. Grab a piece of paper, sketch your design, and cut it out with scissors. If you want perfect symmetry, fold your design in half and cut along the fold.

Step 2

Use your paper design as a guide and transfer it onto a sponge. Then, cut out your design from the sponge. This will be your stencil. Take a piece of cardboard and cut it to match the size of your sponge design. Attach the sponge design to the cardboard. This handy backing ensures even paint application.

Step 3

Grab your spirit level and mark a straight line on the wall where you want your design.

Step 4

Time to unleash the magic of Metallic Paint in Modern Gold! Pour some onto a MixMat. Then use a Small Sponge Roller to evenly coat your sponge stamp with the beautiful gold paint. Make sure it’s evenly distributed on your design.

Step 5

Here’s where the fun begins! Align the bottom of your stamp with the marked line on the wall and press it flush against the surface. Apply even pressure with the palm of your hand to transfer the design onto the wall. Carefully remove the stamp and reapply, aligning the left side with the right. You can repeat this 2-3 times without adding more paint, depending on the coverage you want.

Step 6

Recharge your stamp with paint using the Sponge Roller. Remember less is more to avoid blotching or running! Continue stamping the design until you’ve reached the end of your wall.

And there you have it! A dazzling GOLD and symmetrical wall design that brings a touch of sophistication to your space.
