Painter in Residence Ildiko Horvath painted this piece in an industrial Warehouse style with bright contrasting colours alongside a dark mix of Chalk Paint®.

Ildiko used a mix of Chalk Paint® in Graphite and Honfleur to create a deep chocolate brown for the main body of the piece, and then added contrasting details in Barcelona Orange and a mix of Provence and Florence. She dry brushed the two colours over the edges and carvings of the cabinet. The cabinet front has been stencilled with typography details in Barcelona Orange, which Ildiko has emphasised with shadows in Graphite.

Open the door and the inside of the dresser is painted in Chalk Paint® in a mix of Provence and Florence.

She finished the whole dresser with a clear Chalk Paint® Wax to protect her paintwork and give it a durable finish.
