Painted rope swing

Annie had this swing made to hang in the garden at her house in France. It is made using oak and beautiful thick rope which has been frayed and dip-dyed in Chalk Paint®.

This beautiful swing hangs in the garden of Annie Sloan’s house in France. It is made using a simple oak board and gorgeous thick rope which has been frayed and dyed in diluted Chalk Paint®. From left to right: a mix of Napoleonic Blue and Emperor’s Silk, Greek Blue, Provence, and Barcelona Orange. The board is held up with knots and handles have been made from branches.
