Inspired by the colours in Annie Sloan’s fabric Dulcet in Old White, the walls and furniture in this room were painted in Amsterdam Green.

Annie Sloan hand-painted the design of her Dulcet fabric, taking inspiration from 19th century watercolours and modern impressionist of trees and scenery. She used this fabric as the basis for the colour palette in this room, picking out the Amsterdam Green of the trees on the walls with Wall Paint and chest of drawers with Chalk Paint® finished with Clear Wax.

The floor and lamp base are painted in Paris Grey, finished with Chalk Paint® Lacquer and Wax respectively, and the lampshade offers a bright contrast in Linen Union in Provence + Aubusson Blue.
