Traveling East on Interstate 20 leaving Birmingham, AL take Exit 132A Oporto Madrid. Turn Right onto Oporto Madrid; At the 3rd red light turn right onto Hwy 78 / Crestwood Blvd. At the 3rd red light turn left into the Festival Center. Continue to the very top of the hill past Home Depot. Keep going and you will run through the front door of Crestwood Pickers.

Traveling West on Interstate 20 leading into Birmingham, AL take Exit 132 Montevallo Road; at the bottom of the exit ramp continue straight across through the red light. This road will carry you over the hill to Oporto Madrid turn left. At the 4th red light turn right onto Hwy 78 / Crestwood Blvd. At the 3rd red light turn left into the Festival Center. Continue to the top of the hill past Home Depot. Press your brakes our you will run into the store.

Painted Amour

Hello from Kathy Love, owner and operator of Painted Amour (Amour: French for Love) proud to be your Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas Annie Sloan Stockist.

Since opening in July 2024, Painted Amour has grown from an 80 sqft corner booth carrying limited stock to a little over 200 sqft 9 months later in April 2025 providing all Annie Sloan products and a workshop area. This allows me to work on projects in the booth while Crestwood customers stop and watch. This gives me the opportunity to answer questions and give “mini lessons”. Works wonders.

Just a short update, our family has grown to include two grandsons and another grandson on the way in May. While still working full time. I have lots of support from family, Arminda Cavender owner of Crestwood Pickers, and the amazing team working at Crestwood Pickers. One goal for 2026 is to teach all Crestwood employees the art of using Annie’s products so they can assist customers in my absence; attend one of Tristan’s The Joy of Chalk Paint Master Classes; have many many workshops throughout the year; and lastly start Christmas earlier, much earlier. Hold me accountable!!!!
