Paint Your Own Pentagon Planters

These pentagon planters have been brought to life with Chalk Paint® and Waxes. They make a perfectly unique gift and are so easy to do!

Bought from a local hobby store, these geometric planters are made from papier-mâché, but you could do the same with terracotta or concrete pots.

First, paint a single coat of Chalk Paint® in your colour of choice. Here, we’ve used Provence, Florence and Aubusson Blue.

Once the paint is dry, apply a layer of Clear Chalk Paint® Wax. Finally, highlight any details with Gilding Wax using a Detail Brush – here we used Copper. And that’s it! Easy as paint, wax, gild.
