Barcelona Orange Coffee Table

Annie painted this coffee table in Barcelona Orange several years ago for her living room in Oxford.

Annie’s living room at home in Oxford is painted in Wall Paint in French Linen – a cool neutral evoking a natural linen colour. With her soft furnishings also in cool greys, blacks and creams, there was space for a hit of a warm bright like Barcelona Orange.

This punchy, modern orange was painted onto the table smoothly and only lightly distressed before being finished with Clear Chalk Paint® Wax. Once cured overnight, the wax was buffed with a lint-free cloth to give it a shine reminiscent of Chinese lacquer. The finish has lasted several years, standing the test of time – and family life!
