Sara from Surrey Lane Home used Chalk Paint® in Oxford Navy with details of Pure to create this folk art-style chest of drawers.

Sara from Surrey Lane Home painted this piece in a base of Chalk Paint® in Old Violet, followed by a dry brush of Provence in the centre of the furniture with Pure around the edges. She then applied a top coat of Oxford Navy and distressed the whole piece to reveal the layers beneath and give a rustic feel. She used Annie Sloan Detail Brushes and Chalk Paint® in Pure to create the folk art inspired design on the front.

She stripped and sanded the top of the piece then applied Clear Chalk Paint® Wax to seal and protect the entire piece (unpainted and painted wood). Finally, Sara applied Warm and Bright Gold Gilding Wax around the wooden key hole covers.
