Painter in Residence duo Abigail*Ryan created this retro and vibrant chest of drawers by mixing colours from the Chalk Paint® palette to create a bright coral.

Painter in Residence duo Abigail*Ryan love bold saturated colours. For this chest of drawers they had a very specific colour in mind – something retro and vibrant to complement the clean lines of the piece. To create their perfect hue they mixed together various colours from the Chalk Paint® palette.

They used a mix of Chalk Paint® in Scandinavian Pink, Emperor’s Silk and Barcelona Orange, with a little English Yellow and Pure added to create the vibrant coral. The paint was applied using an Annie Sloan Flat Brush for a smooth modern finish to match the style of the furniture. Finally they applied Clear Chalk Paint® Wax to protect it. Styled using spring flowers in vibrants colours to set this hot pink colour alive.
