Meet the painters

Annie Sloan – artist, inventor of Chalk Paint, and one of the world’s leading authorities on decorative paints and colors. With her artistic training, Annie revolutionized the world of decorative painting!

Tristan Merriam, an Annie brand ambassador and Chalk Paint™ master, known for his fresh, bold use of color and texture, will demonstrate his signature palette knife painting technique.

Jonathon Marc-Mendes – British furniture artist, teacher, and online tutor. Jonathon is obsessed with upcycling and interior design on a budget. He’ll be showing you one of his techniques for mixing neutral colors.

They demonstrate and teach their distinctive styles. You’ll see demonstrations of techniques such as mixed geometry, colorful ombré, subtle frottage, delicate layering, texturing, intense texturing, chipped effects, crackles, delicate hand painting, and gilding.
