You will learn how easy it is to get started, what products you’ll need, the basics of Chalk painting, plus how to create some of the most popular Chalk Paint® finishes.
Bring yourself (or a girlfriend or two), everything else is provided! You will be prepared to give new life to all of your furniture projects.
This is a hands-on workshop, please come dressed to paint. All materials are provided plus you can enjoy a shopping spree in Boxwood with 15% off your purchases.
Techniques that we will cover in class include:
- Creating a smooth flat finish
- Creating a two-colored distressed look
- Creating a washed look
- Creating texture
- Color mixing
- Finishing touches that include waxing, colored wax effects and lacquer
The workshop fee is per person. Due to space constraints in Boxwood and in our workshop area, we ask that your friend, soulmate, children, mom, etc. should not plan to attend class unless they purchase a workshop ticket. Thank you for understanding.
The fee for this class is $120, prepayment is required. This workshop runs about 2 to 3 hours.
