Source for the Goose

Since taking over the long established business of Source for the Goose in 2016, owner Jill Cobley hasn’t looked back. The shop sells a range of vintage and new homewares and furniture. The furniture is a mix of antique and vintage and of course much of it painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint! Chalk Paint is always popular for the many up cyclers who visit, and for those who are nervous or want to learn some new skills, Jill runs small group workshops which always book up fast.

In 2020, Jill took the next step and launched window shopping at Source for the Goose from the comfort of your armchair with her website sourceforthegoose.com. This has enabled customers near and further afield to browse the ever-changing stock and buy with a click of a button. Jill still feels nothing beats the tactile bricks and mortar way of buying, but this new addition to the world of Source for the Goose has been asked for by many, so why not pop by for a visit!
