annieSLOAN Mid Sheen Paint is perfect for interior decoration because the colours are made using no black. Instead the paints are made from a mixture of colours. This means that a fabric or some other item in the room can resonate with the paint picking up on a colour 'hidden' in the paint. The two greys for instance are made with no black - Taupe is a mixture of purple and yellow while French Grey is a mixture of blue and orange. Each colour has a little of its complementary - green has a little red and blue a little orange. This is a quality unique to annieSLOAN paints. The palette of soft subtle colours has an intensity that makes them look like no other paints. The Mid Sheen range are extremely resilient, stable and washable water-based paints. For most purposes a single coat is enough and an undercoat unnecessary. They have a high concentration of pigment to produce extensive covering power and dries to a soft sheen. This paint is excellent for use in all rooms including bathrooms and kitchens, and for use on unpainted furniture or woodwork. Not recommended over old oil based gloss paint.
