Annie Sloan Work Book

When I went to Art School, I was encouraged to keep a sketchbook. I used it to collect colours, pieces ripped from magazines, and pattern making. I still do. You can use this Work Book in the same way. Plan the colour palette of a room, work out a piece of furniture, draw little sketches, use the pockets to collect ribbons, fabric pieces and cuttings.

Quick and Easy Paint Transformations

In this book, I really pushed the boat out and did 50 (yes, FIFTY!) pieces of furniture. It includes before and after pics with step-by-step instructions for mainly painted furniture projects, with projects for walls and floors. The furniture was on the whole old pieces, but I did take a few new pieces and also some metal lamp bases and a cement garden pot.
